While at Spelman College, Tyler has served on the executive boards of Spelman’s Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Morehouse Spelman Pre-Law Society, and Spelman’s Chapter of the Collegiate 100. She is passionate about social justice and community engagement and serves as a Quarterman Keller Fellow through the Spelman Social Justice Program. She was recognized as an Emerging Dreamer by the King Center Foundation and the Atlanta Dream for her commitment to student activism. Tyler is a member of the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program and a Dean’s List Student.
Outside of Spelman, Tyler participated in the 2023 Pre-Law Fellowship at Duke School of Law where she gained a depth of understanding into law school and the legal profession. She has interned at the district office of US Congresswoman Nikema Williams, the City of Atlanta Department of Law, and Jones Day Law Firm in their Atlanta, GA office. In 2024, she lobbied on Capitol Hill for congressional bills that combated the disproportionate rate of suspension and expulsion of minority children. Tyler plans on graduating Spelman in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
