During her time at Harvard, Emily conducted philosophy research as an undergraduate fellow at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, served as Head Guide for the Harvard Art Museums’ Ho Family Student Guide Program, and led the Philosophy Department’s undergraduate writing group/Women in Philosophy steering committee. Emily also contributed to the revamp of a multi-week citizenship course taught at the Harvard Art Museums, and volunteered through the Chinatown ESL Program.

Emily Feng graduated from Harvard University in May 2025, where she double majored in Philosophy and Economics. Her senior thesis, entitled “The Right to Free Exercise: A Study of Its Grounds, Constraints, and Institutional Forms,” explored First Amendment jurisprudence and the moral underpinnings of our political rights. Emily was accepted to Harvard Law School’s Class of 2030 through the Junior Deferral Program.
