Destiny Reese is a 3L at Emory University School of Law, where she has served as President of the Tax Law Society, Secretary of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Managing Editor of Emory Law Journal, and a teaching assistant.

Destiny was Kostelanetz’s inaugural Spelman College intern during the Spring 2021 semester. She graduated summa cum laude from Spelman College in May of 2021 as an Ethel Waddell Githii Honors scholar. She received a B.A. in English with a concentration in writing. At Spelman, Destiny served as the President of the Morehouse Spelman Pre-Law Society and Vice-President of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. She also served as a mentor, tutor, and peer assistant leader, which allowed her to fulfill her passion for service and leadership. After graduating from Spelman, Destiny joined Kostelanetz as a pre-law paralegal.

Destiny has also interned with Breakthrough Collaborative, an organization committed to increasing academic opportunities for underserved students in the metro Atlanta area and SpelReads, a program designed to improve the literacy rates of middle school students in the Atlanta Public School system.

In her free time, Destiny enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and educating herself and others about health and wellness.
