In Caitlin’s senior year, she worked with Dr. Moon Charania to write a thesis, “Forging Equitable Paths to Justice: Amplifying Black Women’s Voices in the Pursuit of Innocence” which explored how efforts in the criminal justice system must be intensified to amplify the representation and inclusion of Black women within Innocence Projects and the broader discourse on wrongful convictions.
