Diya Kraybill graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a Certificate in History and the Practice of Diplomacy. She subsequently earned a Master of Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, in May 2026 as a Schwarzman Scholar.
At Princeton, Diya served as Editor-in-Chief of the Princeton Legal Journal and was elected to four consecutive terms as Class Vice President in Undergraduate Student Government. She was a Director of Princeton Women in Economics & Policy, worked as a research assistant in the Department of Politics and the School of Public and International Affairs, and served as a senior news writer for The Daily Princetonian. She was a Cicero Fellow in Princeton’s Program in Law and Public Policy, an Oscar S. Straus II Fellow in Criminal Justice, and a Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellow in Government Service.
Her professional experience includes a judicial internship with the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, an internship with the Correctional Association of New York, and a research position at a public policy think tank in Singapore.
Raised in Singapore, Diya is half Bangladeshi and half American. In her free time, she enjoys language study, baking, and creative writing.
