Byung Hyuk (Billy) Min is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on civil tax controversies and criminal tax fraud.
In addition to his legal practice, Billy actively participates in the American Bar Association community. He has contributed to various panels and discussions. His leadership qualities are evident in his involvement in committee meetings and his willingness to assist in their administration. His contributions have made a significant impact on the ABA Tax Section and advanced his peers' understanding of tax law. Billy was a recipient of the ABA’s 2024 John S. Nolan Fellowship Award for leadership in the Tax Section.
Billy is also noted for his commitment to pro bono work. He regularly assists pro se and low‐income taxpayers, providing valuable guidance in navigating their legal issues with the Internal Revenue Service. His dedication to helping individuals in need is exemplified through his involvement in the New York County Lawyers’ Association’s United States Tax Court Calendar Call Program.
Billy graduated at the top of his class in Tax Law from Rutgers Law School, receiving the 2021 Charles Davenport Prize, and a certification in Corporate & Business Law. He came to Kostelanetz from Agostino & Associates P.C.
