Usman Mohammad will present a webinar for the LawPracticeCLE titled “FOIA and Public Records: A Legal Primer for Attorneys.” The webinar is on April 20, 2026, and will run from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Continuing education credit is available.
The webinar will provide an overview of how attorneys can use public records to their advantage, particularly in litigation. These public records include U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, real property records, and records that can be requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Usman will discuss government records that can be obtained under FOIA, FOIA exemptions, FOIA litigation, and how to challenge FOIA denials.
