Caroline D. Ciraolo will participate in a webinar titled “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Moore” hosted by the Federal Bar Association Section on Taxation. This webinar will address the case of Moore v United States, pending in the U.S. Supreme Court, involving a constitutional challenge to the one-time Section 965 transition tax. The panelists will discuss the background and procedural history of the case, the arguments being raised by the parties and in numerous amicus briefs, and some of the consequences that will flow from the Court’s decision. The event takes place virtually on October 27, 2023 from 12pm-1pm EDT.
