On April 15, 2021, Destiny Reese moderates a panel entitled “Exploring Careers in Tax Law” for the Morehouse-Spelman Pre-Law Society. This panel serves as an opportunity for students at the historically Black institutions of Spelman College and Morehouse College to explore careers in tax law and discuss the need for diversity in the tax field.

The event includes a presentation by partner Lawrence Sannicandro of Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP, who will provide an overview of tax law and the various pathways available to students desiring to enter the tax practice. The presentation will be followed by a panel during which an esteemed group of practitioners and scholars will discuss their professional experiences and the value of pursuing a career in tax law.
