Choosing the Ethical Path in Tax Matters: IFA US Branch Conference 2025

Kostelanetz partner Caroline Ciraolo will speak at the 53rd Annual International Fiscal Association (IFA) U.S. Branch Conference, taking place March 27-28, 2025, in Washington, DC.

The International Fiscal Association (IFA) states that it is the leading non-governmental international organization handling international tax matters. With a presence in 111 countries, the U.S. branch is one of the largest IFA branches split into 17 regional chapters dedicated to current international taxation issues, international tax controversy, and connecting international tax professionals from multiple countries.

Caroline, a former Acting Assistant Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Tax Division, focuses her practice on federal and state civil tax controversies, including representation in sensitive audits, administrative appeals, and litigation, providing tax advice, conducting internal investigations, and representing individuals and entities in criminal tax investigations and prosecutions, serving as an expert witness in tax controversy-related matters, and mediating civil tax disputes at the administrative stage and in litigation.
