Before joining Kostelanetz, she researched with UVA’s Center for Politics, interned with Life After Hate, and worked in food service for six years. Her senior capstone focused on issues of employment classification and taxation considerations within the service industry in New York and California. Ella joined Kostelanetz LLP in 2023.
Ella Tynch graduated from the University of Virginia in May of 2023 with a B.A. in Politics and a minor in History. During her time at UVA, she was an Echols Scholar, recipient of the William F. Knight Comedy Scholarship, Student Council Representative, and member of the Dean’s List. She spent time organizing for affordable housing in Charlottesville and organized a mutual aid organization during the COVID-19 pandemic that distributed thousands of dollars in resources to students in need.
