NEW YORK (January 29, 2024) — Kostelanetz partner Claude Millman has been selected to City & State’s Fifty Over 50 list honoring “the contributions and legacies of fifty venerable New Yorkers,” according to City & State. The awards are also sponsored by AARP NY.
Describing Claude as “a go-to lawyer for government contractors,” City & State said of Claude’s professional accomplishments:
“Few people understand New York’s arcane public procurement laws like Claude Millman does. A former assistant U.S. attorney, New York City chief procurement officer and head of the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services, Millman is a litigator and a go-to lawyer for government contractors. Millman, who has been at Kostelanetz LLP since 2011, says he’s particularly proud of a 2023 case in which he helped a nonprofit client continue caring for 139 foster children whose lives would otherwise have been devastatingly disrupted. City & State refers to itself as “a New York-based media organization dedicated to covering New York’s local and state politics and policy.”
Claude leads the government procurement and contracting and complex commercial civil litigation practices at Kostelanetz.
