
Webinar: A Primer on Restitution and Forfeiture Issues (Part II)
Caroline D. Ciraolo will join a panel-style webinar titled “Show Me the Money: A Primer on Restitution and Forfeiture Issues (Part II)” for the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) on September 17, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern.
Caroline and the other panelists will discuss the impacts of restitution and forfeiture orders on defendants and their families. Attendees will learn how to best protect their clients’ families and spouses during white collar criminal proceedings, how government collection methods work, and how defendants’ foreign and domestic assets may be impacted by restitution and forfeiture orders.
The panel will be moderated by Jennifer Beidel of Dykema and Christie McGuinness of Saul Ewing LLP. Caroline will be joined by fellow panelists Evelyn Baltodano Sheehan of Kobre & Kim; Benet Kearney of Nardello & Co; and Jillian Berman of Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP.

About Caroline
Caroline is the former Acting Assistant Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Tax Division and now a partner with Kostelanetz LLP. Her practice focuses on federal, state, and cross-border civil tax controversies, including representation in sensitive audits, administrative appeals, and litigation, providing tax advice, conducting internal investigations, and representing individuals and entities in criminal tax investigations and prosecutions. She also serves as a consulting and testifying expert witness and an independent mediator in tax disputes.
