NYC Bar Webinar: Ethical Considerations for Corporate Investigations
Sharon McCarthy will participate as a panelist in a New York City Bar webinar titled “Ethical Considerations for Corporate Investigations: Views from All Sides” on September 29, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The annual update program will explore current issues and recent developments related to ethical duties and responsibilities of attorneys in internal investigations involving corporations, counsel for current and former employees, and counsel for government agencies.

About Sharon
Sharon, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, has extensive experience representing individuals and corporations in white-collar criminal matters, civil and criminal tax controversies, and complex commercial litigation. Sharon conducts sensitive internal investigations for corporate and institutional clients either facing potential criminal charges or whose officers or employees have engaged in misconduct. She serves as the Independent Hearing Officer for the District Council of New York City and Vicinity of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and is on a panel of attorneys who advise and assist the Grievance Committee of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School, where she teaches Trial Advocacy.
