Claude M. Millman was mentioned in a recent New York Times article entitled “Eric Adams Will Name Brooklyn Power Broker as Chief of Staff,” published on December 29, 2021. The article says that, in preparation for joining the administration of New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Mr. Carone resigned from the Kings County Democratic Committee and from the Hanover Bank board. The article also states that, according to Mr. Carone’s spokesman, George Arzt, Mr. Carone is putting assets in a blind trust and being bought out of a business. Millman is mentioned in the following sentence: “To assist with divesting his assets so that he could serve in the Adams administration, Mr. Carone retained a lawyer, Claude Millman, and spoke with an ethicist, Mr. Arzt said.”
