Mia Bailey graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia's Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. She earned her degree in Public Policy and Leadership while minoring in both Sociology and African American Studies. While at UVA, she was a recipient of the University Achievement Award Scholarship, the Frank Batten School's Frederic Bocock Fellowship, and the Sociology Department's Commonwealth Award. Mia previously interned on Capitol Hill, worked as a Teaching Assistant, and assisted Professors in their research on Police Community Relations and Education Policy. Her Sociology thesis focused on the impact of race on traffic stop outcomes in New Orleans and her Public Policy Capstone proposed policy options for improving disadvantaged communities’ access to quality, early childhood education.

In her spare time, Mia enjoys dancing, exploring the city, and spending time with friends. Mia joined Kostelanetz LLP in 2022.
